LIME, is a financial services company based in the Los Angeles region. Our philosophy follows the idea that finance is not a concept, rather it is a lifestyle. We are not your average firm in the financial sector! Our communication with you will be relatable, will be delivered with care and will be free from judgement.

We specialize in providing Bookkeeping and Tax Finance services to small businesses and families. We think it is so important to build up the families in our community. Mended and financially stable families go on to establish businesses that create generational wealth!

The LIME family is led by owner and CPA, Lashawn Banks. Growing up in a single parent home, the Baltimore native understands both sides of the financial equation. She understands that a lack of financial resources causes increase stress, decreased confidence and decreased mobility. Lashawn, affectionately known as Shaun or Shaunie, grew to understand that life is more than just “paying bills every other Friday.” These experiences, combined with her natural wit and talent propelled Shaunie to become an accounting major in college. The Morgan State University grad wasted no time earning her CPA licensure. Since then she has started businesses and acquired assets that has led her to this current journey of teaching others how to live a life of financial literacy.

Unfortunately, 80% of businesses fail within their first year of operations. There are many factors for this downfall. Underestimating the financial aspects of running a successful business rank among the top reasons. LIME is dedicated to easing this burden. We strive to help our clients via one on services, courses, packages and eBooks. We also provide free resources via YouTube content, social media posts, and community outreach. What is A CPA ?

To build your accounting and tax strategy, I have designed the following services for you:

  1. Tax Preparation – Federal, state and business returns filed for you and your family
  2. Tax Strategy Coaching – I will answer your questions surrounding if your business should be an LLC, S-Corp, how to pay your family, how to get a DBA and more!
  3. Bookkeeping Coaching – Keeping your books organized is essential for tax write-offs and an list of other reasons!
  4. Payment Processing System Coaching- If you are accepting client payments via cashapp, venmo, paypal or Zelle please stop and sign up to be coached through implementing an actual payment system for your business!

The investment for tax preparation services can change based on if you itemize or take the standard deduction. Prices below include the filing of both the state and federal tax return. The base rates are as follows

  • Individuals ( Single, HOH or Married without a business) $250
  • Business Owners ( LLC’s, Sole Proprietors) – $375 (includes one business)
  • Businesses ( LLC’s owned by more than one person) $550
  • Businesses ( S-Corps) $425
